SARC Walk a Mile In Their Shoes

The saying goes: “You can’t really understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.” This event asks men (women, kids) to literally walk one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes. A playful opportunity to raise awareness about the causes, effects, and remedies for sexual assault and domestic violence. This event raises funds for SARC, which provides resources, hope, and healing to victims of violence in Hartford County.
